I'd like to know about how to respond if a prgram asks u if u wanna meet some facultymembe ror residnet in particular...for example, i am interested in psychiatry, and i know i find cerain fields interesting but i do not know about them in detail, coz, in med school, exposure to psych is not very extensive. .or should i just think about i particular area im better aware of and request to meet certain faculty members...

Good point. I have an interview at a FP program, and the PD asked if I would like to meet someone in a specific field. I was thinking about requesting to meet someone in Sports Medicine, so I could get a feel of how the field is growing and its future outlook. I dont think there's a certain way to respond. Just call the coordinator when you schedule the interview, and tell them you want to meet someone in the particular field you are interested in. It's not an ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT, so if you cant think of anybody....dont ask to meet with anyone.
