Hello to all the forum members...
I have been a silent reader of this forum from long time.i have few posts in step 3 forum.
Here is my brief history.
IMG 2002 graduate/2yrs PG experience with no degree/87/96/cs 2nd attempt/STEP3 in jan/EAD status/3 months USCE.
applied to 80 programs in IM only.
IV status-no calls till date/10+rejections.
after going through the credentials of people who got interviews,i was pondering over few things that i may have done to my CAF.
Foremost in my CAF i mentioned my PG coures as experience,so as not to loose out 5+yrs of graduation.If i leave it i will have 5or more yrs,which many programs dont like.keeping it in my mind,and to be truthful in our profile ,i stated that i did my PG from 2003 to 2006 than left it due to personal reasons.
Do u think its a blunder to mention it so.Iam feeling so.I have no hope this yr,atleast i can correct it in my nxt CAF for 2008 match.
I also feel that an attempt in CS is very bad than the rest of scores.
Iam sorry for the long post.I Will be grateful if some kind soul goes through this lenghty post and advise me.

Look at your applied programs again.
Maybe you did not applied wisely.
Apply many more community programs to get Ivs

I agree with Robin... apply to more programs.
I have 99/96/CS cleared/step3 result waiting/no USCE/ NO US LORS/need visa.. I got good number of iv's.. till now 11 IM ... probably because..
1. I applied on Sept 1st at 7:00AM. Many applied on Aug 31st at 12 mid night.. Can you believe it!!
2. I applied to 140 IM programs and 14 med/peds.
You have better credentials than me. With a 2 year PG experience, you are definitely more knowledgeable. Who doesn't have some weak points in their resume? Failing once in CS is not a BIG deal. Be positive and apply to more programs and may be try something else!!
You will match this year... be positive !

May be i should have applied to more community programs.
Is it still apt now to apply.will the programs atleast download application if applied now.
will be waiting for some one to reply...plz

Offcourse you should apply !! It is still Oct, they will definitely download..... may be apply those which haven't started giving interviews. If you apply 50 more, you will at least get 2-3 for sure. Why miss this chance? It is better than waiting to join 2009 match!!
