Do we always go for Laparotomy in Gun Shot Wounds or Stab Wounds if it is clear that Pts periotneum has been breeched, regardless of Pt being Stable? or would u do Laparoscopy if Pt was Stable?? what exaclty determines laparotomy vs laparoscopy in cases of penetrating wounds?? thx much

Yeah, I saved the ones which were tricky or ones which I need to memorize but didn't want to write notes on...

you posted a question earlier asking about gunshot and stab wounds to the three zones of the neck. I had a chart at one point, I think it was out of the kaplan surgery notes. I can't locate it in my notes right now. But if you have the kaplan notes, it should be in there.

I have the kaplan notes 2006-2007 -no chart on neck wounds. please post -it would be helpful.
