Just found my result 99/256.
The exam
8 hours is long and requires a lot of stamina. some blocks are easy - finish with 10 mins to spare. Some are medium - had only 5 mins to spare. 1-2 blocks were hard and had no time to spare. Overall, finished exam 20 mins early.
General topics - need to know everything.
My prep
Listened to all Kaplan lectures once but did not find them that useful.
Read Kaplan notes once - no time to read them again.
Did all of USMLE World - unused and timed. Only did it once. Got average score of 68%.
Did NBME exam form 3 two days before exam and got score of 610.
USMLE CD 2 days b4 - results 45/44/41
Also read Step 2 Secrets once before exam.
Prep took about 2 months with full time job.

thats amazing.short,intensive prep and i find it extremely practical as no one wants to invest too much time into step2 considering half of it is step1 asked differently and the other half is what doctors are generally good at i.e. clinical stuff.all the best for the future.

Wow, that is wonderful score. Congratulations.
BTW, why you say it was 8hr exam. We are told it supposed to be 9hrs, right?

Sorry , I realise it is 9 hours but I meant the actual MCQ time.
Anyway, good luck everyone and I agree with others that USMLE world is a very good source of questions.

Can you or somebody tell me which subjects are more important for CK. Like I know IM is the most important one, which one is the next, and so on.

Wow You are unbelievably smart!! I feel so dumbed. But don't get me wrong, I envy you FULLY in a good way! WHY?? Because you only read Kaplan ONCE, B&W once, did UW once, you work fulltime & you studied ONLY for 2 months!! And you got 99 but you said you did not find Kaplan video useful?
You are incredibly smart.. Are you still at med school but maybe not since you said you work full time, did you make your own notes? How did you study & how was your schedule EVERYDAY!!
Since you posted your EE, I am very curious!! Maybe or not maybe I don't belong in the medical field at all because to tell you the truth , I am not working, I study half-full time& still gets low scores in UW. And I already read Kaplan lectures TWICE! and did some videos! I really feel dumbed.
Anyway, Congrats!
