Hi Maria, here are some websites where you can find more information: KAPLAN www.kaptest.com Princeton www.review.com Others www.boardsprep.com http://medicine.creighton.edu/USMLE You can also just check google for "USMLE prep ". I havent any experience with them. Maybe someone else could post his/her experiences here. Please let us know a review. Which one did you like better and will you take one?

hiz, i think taking courses is not that nice idea cos u should hav taken ur basic sciences in ur med. school so choose a suitable books & start self learning & if u got troubles ur senior doctors & profs. would help u ,, i think when student study alone would cocentrate more ,imagine ,think logicaly & hardly forget what u studied alone this s my own openion , u might think in another way but i believe in this proverb (easy come ,easy go )

I agree with Gezira about taking a prep course plus I say that it is kind of expensive too. But I'm sure there are some of our folks that graduated 5 or 10 years ago or more and that they may consider this kind of prep. Lillian already post some internet resources in the previuos message. Here's what I found about usmle prep courses: FALCON Physician Reviews - live lectures for step 1 and step 2 Youel prep - live lectures only for step 1 Kaplan promotion - enroll or upgrade to DeluxePrep or Step 1&2 CenterPrep Combo and receive free month of center access!

i must, respectfully, disagree with some of these posts ... i would definitely recommend the review courses. But, please don't take the short/intensive prep courses (the profs have to take too much material out) ... take the longer courses ... the longer the better. it will definitely be worth your time and the profs know what they are talking about ... use them!

Can you tell me which prep courses in particular you think are good. I really am interested in finding one that is complete and up to date in the material it teaches. Thanks
