No sectrets at all. All I did was I worked Hard & got above my comfort zone for thsi exam. In retrospect I think it all was my recent graduation, CK knowlede & GODs grace taht I still got 99 except of all 9-10 hrs of sleep, movies. I really thought I didnt deserved 99 just 'cos I am not able to study 10 hrs all the days. 
but at the end all hrs I studied & not studied counted in my scores or maintaing my sanity. Thank God & to you buddies for that

yes you can take exam in any city in US. Its not necessary to give exam in same state of application

HOW MANY DAYS DID IT TAKE AFTER SENDING IDENTIFICATION FORM??

- permit will come to my email or that candidate website?? &
-do we get any mail or something after our identification form reaches to FSMB?
hey I know what a pain this is to start another one with this match leaving no hope for us. but you we will need time to improve our resume. so better get done with this to earlier so taht we have some months for that too..
wish you all the strength to bounce back again with even more enthusiasm. after all we have atleast covered half the journey.

An email notifying your permit at the candidate website will be posted in your mail box.
No I don't rememeber notification of CIN reaching them. But check your candidate website. They are pretty uptodate.
In my expereince I got all emails on Friday. So wait until then. Good luck.

Kity: U r welcome.
While I have been feeling really bad for myself and feeling hopeless at my situation I might have conjured a good thing for myself. In terms of some experience here. Details awaited.
My application package should be complete. I am not going to give up.Is my mantra. I have spoken and read enough to know that I was way past late as of a month ago in this process but as Acintya always says..believe in the almighty and some thing good will come of it.
As for step 3. I have completed Kaplan lectures in ER. Will read Crush and FA today followe by some questions.
The star Kity ( she has done really well in her steps and that is huge motivation) amongst us I have noticed deals with questions heads on. That is one change I plan to bring to my study method. I shall start attacking questions sooner than later.
So much for today. I hopoe all of you are studying and doing the right thing. Cheers.

I have the diagnostic test for Kaplan when I joined then in 2005. Does any one have the key to that test or know where i can get one? That will be very useful thanks.

OK done deal. I have secured dates for 22nd and 23rd January. This should get me going. I have been adviced to get the steps out of the way. I will plan to do just that.

so lets get together to beat this one too, As I dont have any option of postponig this one..
So how did usmle cd tretaed you?? I got so confused when i tired to do CCS.. yet to try it again

So I found some one online who want to have ago at this. Her exam is in 10 days. I understand her urgency and hence want to give this the best shot I can.
I have listened to the Kaplan CD CCS case orientation material. I've had this CD since 2006 methinks and today I finally opened it. Makes me realise how much time has just gone by.
I have gone through one practice question. I am getting a feel of the CCS. Though I would love to master the software I am very aware that CCS only accounts for 25% of the entire exam.
So reading has to begin and also questions.

We discussed 4 peds questions. Unfortunately her connection got bad. I hope we continue with a little more organisation between us both. I have a feeling I am going to completely enjoy this.
Im going to complete Peds Kaplan lectures and read Crush Step 3 and FA ( as much as I can) before going to bed.
Not wanting to sound boastful, but it is gratifying to realise that I was and will be good in clinics and this is really the kind of exam that excites me.
Can someone please tell me how are the questions other than CCS. are those managment based too?

I have 80 minutes of Kaplan lectures remaining to hear in CNS. Study partner changed plans. Generally that is a bad sign. I don't care at this point. It has brought me into a rhythm. For which I will always be grateful. Now I am going to take a long walk and figure some things out. When i get back I shall complete these 80 mins and peds.
Peds will kill me. I am confident about that. I shoud work hard at it. Ace it.
Does anyone know if NBME does practice tests for Step 3 too like it did for the other steps? I have looked through the web site but couldn't make out. Thanks.
