Hi guys... I have a question. I am applying as a couple with my hubby and we´ve got a few IVs, well he´s ECFMG certified and I have ck in november, besides that we have very similar credentials. He´s got an IV from Bridgeport and I´ve been rejected there, while I´ve got an IV from Danbury and he hasnt got it yet. Bridgeport is his best option so far and I guess being both in CT maybe we can apply: he to Bridgeport and me to Danbury... but how can u compare both programs? We both would like a fellowship in cardiology, would it be hard for any of us to get it? Thanks in advance...

Hi, Allymd,
I m also applying as a couple and understand your situation.
Both pg are affiliated to Yale. Bridgeport has 1 cardio fellowship position and has placed more residents into fellowships than Danbury, so it s a better option to your purpose. Danbury is near Bridgeport, so I think you should consider this combination when doing your list to the match, even if Danbury isnt as good as Bridgeport is.
Anyway, never give up, work hard and you will succeed.
