Guys. I got this mail from eras today. what does it mean? I thought visas were sponsored by ECFMG, not ERAS. Does this knock out the J1 visa status? E-mail as below:
"This email is to inform you that if you are not a permanent resident or
are a
U.S. citizen we are not sponsoring any visas for the academic year
2008."

Is that from a program?? Through ERAS?

I just traced the e-mail (which had no name or program attached) from my previous correspondence. This e-mail was not from ERas, but rather was from PSYCHIATRY RESIDENCY AT BRONX-LEBANON.
My sincere apologies.
E-mail sender should be knocked for sending such an anonymous mail.
