i and my gf both apply programs individually. we r wondering if we can change status of both eras and nrmp to 'couple match' later down the road. if we do, any significant effects on ROL submission other than paying more to cover all the combination options. thanks all

I believe you can, but check with NRMP to make certain.

bbb thank for your answer. is it necessary to tell each program we are applying about the change? or is it okay just to make changes on nrmp/eras? thanks again

Only if you are trying to get matched to the same program, then I would tell them.
