I haven't rejected any one, I haven't invited anyone. And I am a decent program. Hold tight
========================================

My qtn is -- when does ur program start sending our invitations and how many invitations you send per position

  #2

I don't post when I send my interviews out because everyone would start looking through the emails and putting their heads together, then they would call me and I'd have to go to lunch, meet applicants for drinks, virtual parties, etc.wink

I'll be doing it soon and we invite about 8-9 applicants per position.

Thank U bbb,

1 - How do we let the program know if I am interested in a prematch. Do u wait for the program to offer u or you ask the PD in person at the end of the interview ?

2 - Is it wise to have your LOR writer make a call to the PD in order to stand better chances or have him/her email the PD. I am concerned that making a call should not make a bad impression even though my LOR writer is ready to make a call.

1. Following your interview, or if you are comfortable enough during an interview, ask via telephone or email.

2. Most LOR writers have to get through me to talk to the PD. But with how many applicants, times 3 LORS apieces, it's impossible for the PD (or me) talk with all the callers. If they get through, it will not make a bad impression

At least my dogs think that I am one of the deities on this planet, and that's good enough for me.

Good luck all
