hi everyone, please be responsible in posting questions. please do remember that rote memory is rarely tested on USMLE. please post CORRECT ANSWERS a couple of days after you have actually posted the answer. that is a whole lot better than just simply posting one line questions! i hope you guys understood what i meant! thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!! grin

Dear, vyseerx

Thanks for the message. What happen if they don't know the answers of the questions that they posted out. I don't know the answers of the questions I posted, that's the reason I posted out to have opinions of everyone, such as yours. Does that mean that I can't post questions or I am not responsible because I don't the answers? If so, why do we need the forums? Even though if you do have the answers, you still have to look into books.

hi nuiz,
i understand. the desire to help others is noble.good. keep it up. but then, is n't important that it should be proper help? the USMLE exam format is continuously changing, commercial review programmes are getting more and more costlier, and q banks are time limited, and we need more and more contributions from our fellow students to get to the bottom of this standardised exam. we need to share our wisdom, post each other "like real" exam questions and that will be immense help. what is the use , if i post a question like what is the most common type of anemia in a child? any review book has an answer for that. we all can look into books. idea is to give a clinical situation which makes most people think for a while before coming up with the answer. and for those who cant even after consulting a text book, the author must post the answer also, after 2 days. this helps two ways. by thinking like an examiner, you are on your way to YOUR BSET score, and by providing the answer after 2 days, you are REVISING and being regular. I know it is difficult, but i genuinely feel it is important. just go throgh my questions, you will realise how i strived hard to mimic the USMLE pattern ,all with the help of helping my self ,while helping others. hope you got the point . thanks TONY PAUL for kindwords.
