just curious. are there nmbe available to download for step 1. or is it best to just purchase. if to purchase, how much, and are there 3 types, which is best?

nmbe website for detail on online version $45.00 per test.
puchased one gives you feed back on performance and it is timed gives you estimate of potential step 1 score

hi thanks so much for replying. i saw a previus posting of yours with a link to an nmbe. i downloaded it, but i am wondering which number nmbe it was.
also are there more nmbes available on this site. i havent found any links besides that one.
are there explanations floating around?!
is it best to get a handle on ALL nmbe 1-4 . or is that useless, one is good enough to figure out where i stand?!

You coulda just asked me starbright!! I was doing some research and mostly people were saying 1 is the easiest, 2 is most accurate, and 3 is eh and 4 is the hardest. That is just what i've heard. Anyone beg to differ?

I checked up the questions on here after i did the second form and they are the same questions, and it gives u answers at the end but only thing is there are no explanations. I dunno if i helped .

starbrite sorry for not responding to you sooner. did you get the rest of the nmbe as you wanted i cant find the link but I have it saved to my laptop so post your email if you would like me to forward them to you.
I dont know about explanations I have not found any so I just post the questions I get wrong that I cant figure out and get help from the forums
the ones I have the questions are all different , it depends on when you are doing the nmbe is it for an assessement (I would suggest one half way between study and one near the end) aim is 80% and greater
I can do this for you tomorrow if you like, my exam is coming up soon so I am not visiting the forums as often
