I had no issues with contact lenses for several years.....until I started the MLE ride!!
and it is so bothersome, cos at one point, my eyes gave up on the contact lenses and I switched to glasses, which still bothered me. It took 4-5 visits to the optometrist (who gave up on my eyes and said: once your stress is over and you don't strain your eyes as much, I am confident your eyes will accept the contact lenses better ) I now wear soft lenses, but even those....hmm on a good week, I can get to wear them 3 days a week.....
I don't know what I am gonna do for the actual exam day. Try as I might, I am not able to get into a pattern. The eyes have a will of their own, whether to cooperate with the lenses/ glasses.

I wud rather prefer glasses. And believe me i havent till yet tried contact lenses. Find it too much of a work to wear them.

P4a99's experience with glasses:
I started wearing them in my last year of high school ... cuz its actually the first year that i started studying ( i also got a 98%  ) ... I used study in very dim light  .
I like glasses ( nice ones ) on females and males; if a good looking female wears glasses, you have a good chance that she is both, beautiful and intelligent   .
Glasses give you a hint on how much someone reads. Most succusful people that i know wear them.
I have this philosophy that, if you divide all the humans on earth right now into those whom wear and those who dont wear glasses, i bet you that the group that wears them would have a higher percentage of bright people!
Regarding styles ... I like to always have one basic pear ( classic and black framed ) - i wear them when i want to look smart - and an other stylish frameless pear - i wear them when looks metter a little more.

I do . But never tried and I do not want to try Contacts as I worried about the after effects. BTA what happened to your posting in this forum?

I appreciate your view. Lot of Doc's wear glasses( Plain) to look more professional. Do you think they fit into your category?

In high school , I desperately wanted to wear glasses because I thought poeple with glasses look cool. I tried every thing which is supposed to strain your eyes , but nothing could affect my vision. Today I just smile when I think about those days.  .

year glasses every wear except when bathing or sleeping!!!!!!
am myope -3
so when not wearing glasses i look like a bat!!!!!!
dont prefer lenses

i look like this!! except my complexion's fairer, and i'm a little bit prettier!!!

if this was posted on another forum I frequent, the response to this would have been
"post pics or your a liar"
and to your original question. Yes glasses when studying or working. For an interview or somewhere I have to "look smart" I have a different pair of glasses. And then contacts, of which I variety, depending on occassion and venue.
