Rejections from Stonybrook and Conemaugh.
I think applying as an old IMG with one score (90) wasn't a good idea afterall. I need to take steps 2 and 3 and apply next year.
For some reason I thought I'd been doing some really good work meanwhile and would make a great candidate even with a single score. I was obviously wrong. The match certainly is an education in humility.

jazmil, one of the programs told me that they put on hold applicants who are not ECFMG certified. So wait until your step 2 Ck score becomes available...

Last year they recruited 100% IMGs
This year they received a large number of application so there requirements increase significantly.

Hi gingko,
Since, you dont know the whole situation so 'll give you the benefit of doubt. Other than that, what i wrote there was not meant in that way either. What i was trying to say and was misunderstood was was this.
I said the reason to post these invitations is to help people. Now as you may have often heard new people questioning the credibility of these invitations, so i wrote we post these IVs to help people we know, those who trust us. If a new guy comes in and start asking if mph, sarika or GloMD is lying, we dont need to prove ourselves, we dont owe anyone, If someone benefits from it fine, if one doesnt believe thats fine too.
I in no way meant that i dislike newbies, dont want to help them or i wont benefit from them.
Friends ask me not to post the IVs because it can prove stupid as i am increasing me competition but i dont agree. If someone can get an Interview by calling a program that called me i will be more than happy.

first, congrats for the IVs to everyone ........
second, after a very long dry spell I got an IV from Conemaugh
third, I did not like to see the disturbance on the thread .......... but, all of us must agree that these are very 'intense' moments and so people can say things they dont mean ........... this goes for both the 'newbies' and 'seniors/gurus/etc.' So, please be patient with each other
Finally, nice to see that bbb visits my theard

I think its important to respect others the way we want it for ourselves. There shouldnt be any difference between new and old ones. Nobody is here to harm others. All we want is a little support in time of stress. I have been on this forum for few months and know how people act here. There are few with multiple IDs . I hope a lot of people in this forum know who step2ckjan is .....Those who have been playing games should better stop it. Lets help and support others , instead of being mean.

Yes mph i actually saw that amtrak post and decided not to buy the tickets yet. I just hope these hotel/motel shuttle service that provides pick and drop dont mess up!
