Decide... Harrisburg is Pennsylvania's capital. It is less than 2 hrs from Philly. When are you planning to have the interview?

Thanks Kram! Ya I knew its the capital but wasnt sure abt the transportation b/w phili and harrisburg. I m planning the iv smewhere in mid dec.

Any review abt the program nyone, scutwork has none.

I think Harrisburg is well connected to Philly, Newark, NYC by road (GreyHound). I guess, there is Amtrak service from Philly also. I am sure they will give a lot of info when you schedule the interview. No idea how the program is!

Congratulations to everyone.

Finally today i came back to my senses and booked the flights and hotels. If a program is providing you a subsidized rate for hotel, book it soon or they wont have that special rate for too long.
Most nearby hotels or motels will be willing to pick you up from airport or nearby amtrak or other station but you need to ask for it and confirm. If you do that last minute, they might not have enough shuttles available and you will have to pay for the cab. Confirm your ride a week from your scheduled arrival.
I havent reserved/purchased my Amtrak tickets yet. You guys think i should do that now too, my raeson for delaying that was just in case if something changes but if its necessary i will do that too. What say you?

I would say dont buy Amtrak now for 3 reasons:
1. Ur schedule is not fixed yet.
2. Amtrak has very very high vacancy rate, so u wont end up no seat.
3. The price is floating- the nearer the date, the cheaper the ticket.

I have not had anything (no IV or rej) in my mail box since 2 weeks !!!!! Does anyone know if I can make sure that there is nothing wrong with my mail box ?? sad

I would agree with Glo Md but i also wonder sometimes if my email is working fine so i email myself with another email add!
