Mr maverick I am slow but steady just 9 IV's but is far more then what I thought I would get!! I'm very happy with it and if I only had one more I'd be satisfied I would not be able to go to that many IV's anyways I have a budget to attach to...nothing compared to my friends mph, sarika and prueba.... hey prueba congrats on St Raphael I know you were waiting for that!! have a great weekend everyone and congrats to everyone on your Iv's nod

Dry week for me

Hope to receive good results neext week. (My bad I applied late in Sept.)

Do not worry yuna

Half of my IVs are from late applied programs.

I had no IV in Sep and I applied to some more community programs on the 11th Oct and more than half of my IVs from these programs.

its looking like a lost cause to me. heres my story, I'm an old img 98,got ecfmg certified in 98 with lousy scores, did a residency back home in ortho, then senior residency, now 9 yrs later coming to USA with GC. Repeated the steps recently with 91/99 , one pub in indian journal. no usce or us lor's,and cs pending in december.applied to 65 progs, 5 rejections so far. would like an feedback on situation.........not sure if its an appropriate forum............but watching you guys having tonnes of iv is really driving me......u know what.....may be a residency in ortho is conflicting with my interest in im....i dont know what to think...

  #262

obviously internal med in not my first choice, and the reason is almost as obvious. I allready have an ecfmg certificate, i just wonder if i be getting a new one after CS. Anyway it would be a great help ,at this point if you guys could suggest any place where the sun still shines( i mean any chance of iv).
Thanks for the input though.
I will be posting any miracle happens this time around.
thanks

bobbysidhu,

If you want to know what are the most accessible programs you should look for community programs with 100% IMGs. As you are a greencard holder try to apply for programs that don't offer H1, competition ll be smallest. There are thousands of lists on Internet like http://www.fmgamerica.com/internal_medicine.html or http://www.matcharesident.com
If I were you I would apply to more programs. In addition I think programs ll continue calling until december-january, so you ll receive some IVs from those programs you already applied for.

GoodLuck
