can any strong doc say the difference between transudate and exudate in pleural effusion?

Transudate:
LDH of effusion <200
LDH of Effusion/LDH Serum <0.6
Protein of Effusion/LDH Serum <.05

ALL THREE of these have to be met for it to be a transudate.
IF ONE of these criteria are not met, it's an exudate.

We had a good discussion about this earlier... I'll try to find the thread.
