NON-ST elevation MI and ST elevation MI

management:
1st ASA and PTCA + stent.....prefered over thrombolytics
2nd Heparin nitrates, B-blockers, ACEI (if needed), Statins

------------
3rd If medical management fails-------------then Cardiac Catherization----to see if CABG or angioplasty (PTCA) needs to be done

NSTEMI:

ASA,ACE,BB,Heparin or equivalent like the other heparins and Statinsusual starting dose 80 mg.Check TNT,
If persistent chest pain ,elective PTCA with stent.

STEMI:

Primary PTCA with stent drug eluding or not ,asa,heparin,statins.If three vessal disease CABG .If single vessal disease PTCA with stenting
