i passes step 1 with 99/258 and gave cs in sept. i failed in communicaton skills part of cs and will have to take the exam again. I was worried about the effect an attempt of cs will have on my profile or next years match. i read on a couple of forum posts that an attempt on cs is not reported on the usmle transcript and once u pass the exam even on a second attempt, all it says is pass/fail on the transcript programs receive...Is this true? i know step 1 and step 2 ck attempt are all reported but wasnt sure about the policy on step 2 cs...
plzz help...this would really help me form my strategy for the next math and give me the right idea as to how programs will view my profile

All attempts for all the USMLE exams are reported, including the CS. As far as what i've heard, a failed CS attempt is not considered as bad as a failed CK attempt.
