Hello all,
I have been lazily reading most of the preparation journals from this forum and got some inspiration to study. One of my friend told me that it would be a great idea to write my own diary as that will help me in assessing my progress in studies. I hope it will also be helpful for me as others here.

Ok.... Now with today's study... It was a bad day overall. Had some work in hospital, so did not get much time to study. I have started with Obstetrics videos and I have just now finished watching upto chapter 2. Thats ok, but I need to increase the study time. It is first day of preparation and I am still gathering some pace for my study.

Tomorrow my plan is to complete with Obs and then start with Gyn. I am hoping to complete it atleast half.
Ok. GN diary.

Hi all,
Thankyou beiwen to drop in.
Yesterday was a waste, could not study... become more lazy than ever.
Today I finished with Obs. They are really nice.
Now, I am in confusion whether to start with Gyn or Medicine. I think I should start with medicine because its a vast subject and is tested the most on exam. I need to prepare more for medicine. If any one has any suggestion it will be very useful.

As of now I am planning to start with Medicine from Cardio-my favourite topic and then do complete medicine.

Ok. GN diary.

Hello diary,

Its the idea of writing everydays work down that helped me out with today's study. I had the compulsion to do little more than I was willing to do, just because I thought to be more faithful with my diary here.

So, here I am writing after watching long sessions of videos today. All I found was husssssssssshhhhh... I finished with Cardio. Dr.Fishcer is the one of the best teacher I have seen for IM. The way he shows whats important and what we need to learn for the test is fantastic. I think, this is a good way at approaching at the questions on CK. These topics most of us know. But, what to answer at required question is what I should learn, which I think is going to be difficult.
I hope to continue with this speed and complete some other part of IM tomorrow.

God Bless You All.
GN Diary.

Hello,

Today again the same thing happened that cannot be stopped- sun setting on beautiful horizon. With another hectic days preparation closing in today.
I watched last part of Cardio today, about the arrythmias. It was a nice experience with Dr.Fishcer. They always confuse me, so I read them through the LNs. Now, I have started with Pulmonology.
The doc teaching it speaks very fast and most of the time I missed what he said. I need to concentrate more to be able to understand the subject. Well, I think I will have to revise todays lectures. Pulmonolgy is small, so I hope to finish it tomorrow and may be start with Dermat, and then Connective tissue diseases.
Hope I will be able to understand the Pulmonology part.

OK. GN diary

Hi,
I have missed a day of study, due to some happiness that I couldnot prevent. i got the result for step2 cs and yes I cleared it. I was partying for 1 whole day and couldnot study and so I missed my diary.... thats really bad.
After all that celebrations, I completed pulmonolgy, it is not that tough as I had thought previously. Then started with Hematology and completed with it today. Dr.Fischer is great, he cleared my most of the concepts regarding luekemias and lymphomas. For me, they were very difficult. But, now I am much confident about them.
So, another weekend arrives and the study is going to be slow now. Anyways, my target is to finish the infectious disease part.

OK.GN.
