how was yesterday? i finished cns pharma and read BS patiant-doctor relationship and did its qs....60% not bad...i did histology qs too and got 93%

how are youkeep going you are doing good me i am on UW almost finshed half of the Q bank my score still 75% impossible to make higher. started last revision with first aid so this is how my day is.

hello friends, seems everyone is busy studying as the exam is approaching.
And here i am, my UW scores are beginning to decline, though its just a couple of blocks. hope to do better today..

hi every body nice to here something from the battle field it shows that things are going well ,about your score going dawn dont worry it will come up relx in between the blocks it happens to me too when i am on the computer for a long time so taking a break in between is a good idea

Hey guys how is it going i am also having the same problem my scores are going down when i do subject wise i actually do better but when i mixed it up  i dont who whats happening i think the stress is getting to me.

fanaye nice score buddy!...can i ask u how do u do them...tutor mode or timed?n how r u doing the explanations?

hay hayeee,nice to see all in good shape and praying best 4 all us
yeah quite tough for me this last month just few days left and countdown will start,so far wat i was dreaming for rev plan cud nt make it,by today i was hoping to b done with biochem but seems like a stubborn kid ,just clinging to my legs and asking more attention,i feel like pour soul whenever revise biochem and pharm and oh not to mention my biggest fear microbiology,
hay anybody have any made up any plan for last 4 weeks rev,plz lemme know too,as em quite confused and sick of constantly changing plan
yeah simi and cleopetra ,keep on moving ,no matter what score says,dont let it down ur morale,we are powerful enuf and we wil beat that monster of step1

how are you all last month for the big day to come stay cool dont give any chance to be nervous. me i am trying my best to stay calm and last revision on 1 AID at the same time i wili do the questions i marked while i am doing the UW about 400 questions. for now i am still 500 questions left to finish my first round .so far this is my plan
shohreh,cleopetra, dr ruman, sftk,simi be strong and calm you are doing good keep up the good work
simi i am doing it tutor and untimed mode i will do the USMLE CD timed mode and evaluate my time.

Goodmorning guys..so hows eyeryone doing?? well m actually not coming to forum much coz EXAM is near...well shohreh even my scores aree in 45-50 in UW but since i have started doing FA and tommy HY, from the last 4-5 tests they have suddenly gone in 60's *touch wood*....so would just say do FA and tommy really properly, though we are in the same boat so wont say my advice is the best but right now it seems to be working for me so told u....ALL THE BEST EVERYONE, HAVE A PRODUCTIVE DAY...

hi every body
i the past two days i did some mix qs and iscored around 50-55%,very close to avverage score,but my overal correct is still 42%,i am wondering when you are talking about their percentage ,they mean overal correct or something else?
and actually i just have kaplan lecture notes and nothing else ,so i have to deal with them ,so let's see what would i do today in my tests

hello everybody, how it going, these weeks are really imp for studies and for me fatigue is starting to set in.
i think dr ruman has a good question, what are the plans during these days, plz pool in ur suggestions, i'm revising kaplan notes using FA as well.
how to do questions, mixed or subjectwise? mixed is a good idea for being prepared for the exam pattern while subjectwise would help in final consolidation of concepts.

if u get 70% questions correct in NBME, u r ready for ur score in 90's...and does anybody know which one is closest to exam?? is it NBME 2??

Hello everyone how are things going for you guys i am still hanging on there a few days ago i had apanic attack my scores were dropping,3 days ago i scored 30% in kaplan q bank i am glad that happened coz that showed me i was burning out so i turned off the computer put all my books away cried for 10 minutes took a nice long shower took a sleeping pill slept for 10hrs and in the morining when i woke up and did kaplan i got 66% this might not seem much for most but that was a boost to my confidence so what i am saying here is please do not over stress and throw your hard work out the window

thats true there is no meaning on stressing and working hard our brain will not process the material in stress even if we work hard,thanks cleopatra for the advice

I agree with cleopatra lets not overstress ourselves, though its easier said than done. Esp when scores are dropping
shohreh, i'm not sure whether i'm the best person to give this advice, but i feel like voicing my opinion coz u seem to be very worried about the nbme scores. set ur goals first, whether u just wanna pass or get a high score. u need >60% to atleast pass the test. take an online nbme assessment it costs 45$.if i were in ur place i wouldnt take a chance at around 50% nbme. u must have worked hard till now, dont rush into the exam if u are not ready. i dont mean to dishearten u, but better be safe than sorry. hi! I need some help. I made usmle world tests and at cumulative I only get 50-52%. I have left only to weeks till step 1 exam. How this scores correlate to the real scores? What should I do?

hay nov gang ops i mean study group,i know i don need to behave sickoooo while exams gettin closer and closer,my D day IS 21st nov ,hmm so far just finished revison of usmle world,and i dont want to comment on my score coz when u revise ofcourse the average score is added in ur previous average so for me its not that gud estimate,a biig lay back in UW ,u cant estimate accurately ur scoring in revision,well its in mid 60's
hmmm em appearing on pometric centre on 2nd nov to kill anxiet monster,lets see,so far i can see em not able to revise whole stuff while appearing for that practice test session,but trying harder to get atleast FA done with some my notes,kaplan notes ahhhhhhhh i cant revise them ,i know way too lenghty and goljan i wish i cud but my study saturation not allowing to do so
neways plan from 2nd nov onwards":
total 10system and 11 subjects i think
so i think first biochem with genetics and immunology
then sytsem wise cvs,renal,resp ,endo,GIT,blood,ms skeletal and skin,reproductive and cns from medessential and FA covering all special embryo and anatiomy and pathophysio and pharm
then one day for general path ,including pathophysiology
one day cell biology,general embryo and anatomy and general pharmacology
one day microbiology
daily few pages revision of goljan high yield 36 pages and my notes from uw
so 14 to 16 days estimated plan
last week few outlines of high yield ,slides,cts of cns,physio grphs of renal cvs and resp,pharmacology review as its my weak memory point and some micro(some highly outlined area of weakness that u estimate from urv nbme analysis)
INShALLAH,thats my plan for 3 weeks,em planning to give nbme 2 in midway and 3 week b4 exam,wish u all best and need praya tooo

i did USMLE Cd and my score 36/41/45 and i realy dont know what it means finish UW average score 72% naw i am going to do 1 AID once
i am nervous trying to stay calm
