Hi Folks,
Did any one got more then 10 interview in IM so far?

Well I am not participating in match this year , but a pal has 15; scores 92, 95 CS no Step 3[ GC , and he didn't match last year after attending 17!!] . others i know from online who are with awesome/nice scores are around 4-7 range. and it's still october start so i think it's not that bad, well, esp for those who got ivs!

my friend with score 75-80 witho nly five interviews matched last year to categorical IM university hospital

I got 11 ivs so far.. heard abt some one who got more than 6.........

got 9 IVs so far, only plan on attending 10-12. 12 is pushing it.

how does someone attend 17 IVs and not match? did he not rank anything over 5? did he not get his scores in before ROLs?

He had major communication problem plus a very shy personality. We were shocked though when he didn't match because he put around 14-15 on ROL. I wonder what exactly did he do which made none of the programs rank him on RoLs. But thats a rare case. I am yet to see another such incident. Otherwise normal people match easily with couple of interviews.

He had a GC and everything except step3 completed on first attempt.

i dont completely agree with that...

if no visa issues/contact in program/mindblowing inteview...then yes...but otherwise...stretching it

i meant 7-8 ivs with " couple of" guys. And all my friends [ 5-6 of them8 who matched in last coupla years did it with around that number [ lowest with 1 highest with 8]. I think with proper iv skills 7-8 should be enough. Graph may be skewed by extreme outliers.

last year my close friend matched with only 2 IVs at community hospitals

sure, those graphs are far from being perfect...but are made from data from thousands of applicants...vs experiences we've heard....
7-8 is more than "a couple" for me. I thought you meant 2. I'm sorry misunderstood it.
I also have a friend who matched at a top 30 Uni program with 2 interviews...
