at last i had my step2 yesterday after 4 months of tight study schedule. studying with my husband helped a lot who also did step on same day. i didn,t slept well night before due to exam tension but my husband slept veeeery well
both of us get mostly same scenarios just like we had in step1.most of my exam was IM all other subjects were equally tested exept surgery which was low.exam was very tiring i got severe headache in last 2 blocks.very few qs were straigh forfawrd most of them required brain storming.but qs were workable and wern,t too tough .doing UW helped us alot its simply great not only similar scenarios appear in real exam but it teaches correct approch toward qs.and yes kaplan its a must must.i.ll try to sumerise imp topics

cvs and resp heavily tested, vertigo,thyroid dysfunctions,acid base abnormalities and nephropathy in diabetes ,renal artery stenosis 3-4 qs,co poisoning ,cardiac murmurs,pulmonary embolism,pulmonary edema do abgs well,hypercalcemia,obstuctive sleep apnea.

lots of obs qs like aph,chorioamnionitis,eclampsia,CIN,breast lumps,menopause hormonal changes
psychiatry
restless leg,night terror, depression,schizophreniform disorder2 s,bipolar,alcohol withdrawl,borderline personality,adhs,separation anxiety,sleep disorders,specificity,other statistic qs were workable and few
surgery
mastiitis,papancreatitis,head trauma,pericardial temponade ,
peads
lots of neonatology qs,murmurs,legcalve perthes
and alot of other qs ,hope u,ll get some idea,see u in cs forum

Would you say that cvs chapter in Kaplan was enough to answer the Questions, or do you think the level of the Qs was more detailed? Were there a lot of pharmacology questions in regards to the CVS? Thank you for your input.

cvs was highly tested i think kaplan notes ,cornard fischer lectures and uw are good sourses,ethics qs were easy remember 20 rules from kaplan, rheumatology was easy like dermomyositis,stills disease,sjogren synd,gout,ostoarthritis,i dont remember whole qs but they were easy
