I applied to all programs on 17th sept. its been 3 weeks and i got just 1 iv and 8 rejections and its been dry for last 10 days no iv no rejections.people said its during 1st half that programs send bulk iv's.since its almost near to that should i start sending emails to program co-ordinators requesting status of application and request to considering application..would it have positive impact or negative or are the pc's going to be annoyed.any suggestions for course of action now.

I had an interview invite 2 days ago from a peds program in NJ. When I called them up to schedule the date, they said all the days are full and the only available date they have is in Feb. Isn't this cruel? No calls no rejects but all the interview dates already booked out.

I trust bbb is being true. I don't think he/she is misguiding anyone. As previously said, every program differs. It could be that bbb's program hasn't yet send the invite. I personally like to seek bbb's advice.

Hey whiterabbit are u having a mental breakdown or something?? U sound a little stressed out and saying bad things about BBB who has been extremely nice to us and helped us out tremendously will not help relieve your problems.... I personally trust her, she knows what she is talking about but anyways saying those thinks is never good... I guess you have to do some soul search and look for the real problem within yourself..good luck!!!

I dont know whether or not WR is rite, but if smeone wants to pretend to be smeone else in a forum, it is well possible. All said nd done I find bbb's posts highly informative.

I feel what u have written is quite offensive.If thats how u feel, its better u keep it to yourself.BBB tries to encourage us, and make us feel there is light at the end of the tunnel.Would you feel more comfortable if you had some 1 telling you u didnt have a shot at what u are goin for?
Or if some one tells u all the interviews for the season have been given out, would you find that more comforting?
I feel its not nice of you to go out of your way to attack some1 who has only tried to help us.
Another thing is that when u make such comments, its better u speak for yourself, and not on the behalf of every1,because not evry1 agrees with what u have said.
Try not to let the stress of this season get the better of you.

I never said the year is done with......I only said it seems to be a tough year.....as for my comments regarding bbb.......well I spoke only for myself....not on behalf of everyone....I do like her / him I mean bbb.........she/he is quite warm and encouraging...but if you guys dont keep an open mind you will not be helping her to get out of the situation she is in. As a doctor you should have empathy for peoplein trouble....So please dont try to protect bbb out of a sense of outrage at my comments... help her/him to go ahead in life...
