Good to see some one from my KSMU .how you doing .HOW many IV"s you got. where you from ( your mother country ).in which specialty r u appling to.when you graguated (in which year ).

Thanks. I am doing well, but could be better.
I applied for IM, FM, neurology. So far I got 5 or 6 rejections. It is probably due to my year of graduation (1994). I am from Kharkov itself.
What about you? Where do you live in USA? I live in Texas.

right now i'm in california. I applied to IM so far one rejection but no IV .i applied on 2 oct. i hope its not late . when you came to US .
Tell you the truth i love my Kharkov and i miss the time which i spend there .i use to live on naukoba (nauchnia ) in flat.
what r u doing right now.i'm doing observership in private clinic but the Dr. is assistent professor on UCSF and every monday one resident of UCSF ( family practice resident ) is rotating un his clinic .
HANG IN THERE , OUR GOOD TIME WILL COME

I came to US 6 years ago.
I do not miss Kharkov that much anymore.
Right now I am looking for observership. It seems hard to get into.
May be you can give me advice?
I am also thinking about step 3 preparation. Just thinking...
When do you plan to go to Kharkov?

You don't miss your Mother country,thats strange. But i miss kharkov ,i just sped 7 years of my life during medical school.I think you think i am also from kharkov (ukraine), no no no i'm from India. You know but i still miss my Kharkov becoz i spend 7 yr of my life in that city.I ALSO LOVEEEE MY INDIA SO MUCH.
When i will go to kharkov? May be after residency.
Observership- if you can find residency (teaching)hospital. If not then do it with some MD .its better then nothing and he can write you a letter.
I just started prep for step 3.now i'm reading crush step 3 .
Good Luck man for step 3 Preparation.
Any luck with IV's .keep in touch .

I'm not from Xarkiv, but from Ukraine!Graduated Ivano-Frankivsk Med Akademy 2002 and 2 weeks after left Ua. Going through match now, and will starty my step 3 very very soon
It's good to know that you are not alone and i wish more ukrainians can do this with Us!

you guys took step 1,2,3? did you guys pass your english test (e.g: TOEFL/IELTS) before applying any of the steps? is englist test needed for USMLE? pls help. i'm student from ukraine.

hi guys again ,i think evryone z going thru struggling phase .i hv done my grad. in 2003 nd looking fr the observership or externship here bt i m not able to find anything,i dnt know wt 2 do i m very upset.done 1 observership with private physician bt some people r saying dt doesnt count much.is it so?anybody plz reply.
