thanks for the link, but i don't agree with the first paragraph of this link. the residency programs i applied to wanted direct hands-on clinicals with u.s. doctors and that's what i'm doing. i'm being evaluated and getting letters. so i don't agree with your statement at all. disapproval

I fail to get the point. if you cant get into competitive specialties then apply for FM, its almost 100% success rate, much better than driving cabs.

Yea FM spots are easy to get into, if you read the NMBE (typo?) report, those that applied for FM have almost 100% match rate and there are vacancies even.

but now fm requires a lot of usce in fm to prove u r dedicated to fm as many imgs accept fm for one year then turn specialities

they think y pay to externship when i can be paid for one year and also get usce then switch to im or ped

but seems that fm programs have realized this later!!!!
