the 2008 edition is out already. i just started the center prep and the newest books are purple. the 2007 edition is baby blue. i heard that the beginning of the qbook with the test strategies, etc is different. the physio edition is basically the same. i asked someone at the front desk if there was a difference and they said they fixed some typo errors. but i never looked at the 2007 books.

in the center, i have only seen the yellow step2CK books. and its says 2006-2007 edition. i don't think there are any new CK students but i will keep a look out for you. the Step1 lectures are on DVD format. The CK and step3 lectures are on VHS tapes using the yellow books. i got the 2008 edition of Kaplan Notes when i signed up for the 30visits centerprep for Kaplan. i heard the front desk people say that they are very similar to 2007 edition which are baby blue. so i guess you can keep a lookout on ebay or something like that.

well so far i have been trying to alot most of my evenings and weekends to being at Kaplan. you are right, the 30visits might not be enough for me, but my key was the Physio and Patho and Pharm and Biochem in that order. and the rest i was going to do that on my own. so far so good. we will see if it will last. for step2ck, i am not sure. it might be too much information for just 30 visits. but if you get through the IM and Surg and Peds then you might be ok. it also depends on your knowledge base. i have that they are supposed to convert to DVDs for step2 ck and step3 too... but they said that in the beginning of 2007 and i still haven't seen the difference in the center. but the people have passed with the current VHS tapes so i guess they still are good. but as always, questions questions questions are the key...
