Hi guys.
I posted this for Dr Fischer on his topic, and would like your opinion on this too. 
I wanted to ask you about my chances of getting into a good University program:
Creds: 94/96/CS passed/ Step 3 will take in Nov
Additions: half a dozen International and National presentations
Two grants from the Federal Government of my country
Research Studentship from the apex body on research in my country
1 month of observership in US with LORs
Calls so far
1. UMDNJ, Camden, NJ
2. Miamonides Med Center, NY
3. Urbana Champaign, IL
4. St Francis, Evanston, IL
5. Abington Memorial, PA
6. Crozer Chester, PA
7. Bronx Lebanon, NY
8. Good Samaritan, Baltimore, MD
I am interested in programs like Temple and Drexel. What is the chance that they will give me a call? And posibly a match/prematch?

Ur chances at Drexel r pretty good cant say about temple.

ur chances at temple is also pretty good...i know people with weaker profiles interviewing there

I actually wanted to know my chances of match into one of the bigger univ programs.. But thanx for the info...
The question is whether I get a call AND a possible match, based on the credentials posted above.

no one can answer about the question like "the chance I get IVs or the change to be matched"
This depends on many factors.
Last year some people got only 2 IVs but matched
Some got more than 20 IVs but unmatched
And this year
Some with mid 80 scores but received IV from a program, but some 99/99/pass was rejected by the same program.

I have a submitted mauscript and a published thesis for one project and the other was published as abstract at 3 conferences - one international and two national.

that's good. I guess PD's want to see results from research experiences. Prediction of chances of getting calls is complicated, and specifically at 2 programs even more....There are more than 100 medical schools, so let's hope some of them give you a call.
