Hi PDM! You said you were born in India and went to medical school in Ukraine. I'm Ukrainian, graduated from medical school in 2003, have Green Card, right now working as RN in US. Can you tell me what strategies I should use in order to pass Step 1 with my Ukrainian knoledge? I would appreciate if you could answer.

Kamran oo7, How could you possibly even think about giving up!!!!!!! Hurray!!!!!! You passed on your first attempt!!!!!! You are a US Citzen, you get 5 extra points there. Go on with Step 2!!! I heard many stories about people failing step 1 numerous amounts of times, and got into residency!!! Also, try to do a externship or volunteer somewhere in a hospital, this will help, when you apply for residency. There are many hospitals in rural areas in need of doctors, So have these places in mind, when looking for a residency! GOOD LUCK!!!
