Allow me to encourage you to continue let me give you some reseaon not to give up. first 75 is passed , so you passed , when you pass an exam you already did it so donot give up. second, still there are other impotant crietrias beside the score , try to srenghthen your cv by research , externship , publications and volunteer job ,BUT if you have a secure future out of medical field and not practicing medicine is ok with you , and you do not want to continue , SURE YOU CAN GIVE IT UP. Good luck

Comon GUYs... especially those of you who are US citizens.. that is really important and opens many doors in more programs than for those of us who are not citiznes or residents... If you give up now... think that you might be regretting it later... thus.. dont give up till you try.. one attempt is nothing... my scores are not in even high 80s but i do not give it up coz hte most important thing is your desire and your true bilief in what you want to do. Just have more ppl around you who are supportive .. it is very important good luck

Believe me btwn you and me (not US citizen) they will take you. PLus, there are much more programs for you to choose around. As far as i have noticed at the moment programs are interviewing either high scores or citizens. IMGs non citizens will get @left=overs@ never give up.. esp if you want to be a doctor

Kamran007, Ignore Doc750's comments. Never give up. I personally know people who have just passed with a high 70s score on one step, but managed to score higher in other steps. It's not just about scores. You need to look at the big picture. AAzad is smart. Listen to him. Like he says, try and publish papers, do research and volunteer work and try for observerships. I know it's difficult to fit all these in while studying, but if need be, then you can do them after you pass your steps or in between steps. It's up to you. You may not have the luxury of choosing where you get your residency, but if you are willing to work anywhere, then you will get in somewhere. You may not match on your 1st attempt, but you WILL get in. Don't loose faith. Just try and do the best you can for the next exam. Take you time. Don't rush into it. Prepare as long as it takes. If you feel that time is running out and prepare for say just 6 months, you may get another low score. Even if you feel you need a year for each step, then take the time and make sure you score high. Aim for at least the low 90s. Hope this advise helps you. God bless you and good luck!

harrish is that true? I know applying late is at a disadvantage w/ regards to application but is that a theory you're saying or a reality? Thanks.
