SCID-Multiple causes:defective IL-2 receptor or adenosine deaminase deficiency or failure of synthesizing class II MHC antigens
Present with recurrent viral, bacterial, fungal and protozoal infection
Defect in early stem cell differentiation
Common variable ID-Defect in terminal differentiation of B cells, with absent plasma cells and deficient synthesis of secreted antibody
Frequent sinopulmonary infection secondary to humoral immune deficiency
