Just read last sentence, don't care about the stem of Qs. I ruled out ''selectins- adressins '' mainly for the reason, that they cause'' rolling'' of phagocytes, and the attachment is loose, not strong enough to support extravasation into the infected tissue.

Compare to the answer C ( did you noticed in the last Qs words '' most important in causing phagocytic cells...... '' ! ), what are'' integrins- ICAM ''bonding, very strong and really needed for stabilization of the adhesion and further migration.

Hope it helped. BTW what is the answer and how is Kaplan explaining it?

Reading from Kaplan's explanation I noticed them mentioning LFA-1 belonging from beta 2 integrin family. So I am wondering if LFA-1 is the same as CD18. Any one confirm this please.
