kram, just remember - dont update ECFMG status till it comes in your OASIS account as issued.

got rejection from univ of connecticut.......at 7 am!........i applied with st 1 score.....got cs today..passed ! whew!...( was havin nightmares abt wat id do if i flunked.....this match wud go out of the window......not to mention a handsome amt of mullah....)...........giving ck in nov..........but its so hard with so lil time and all these other match related stuff.....the emotional roller-coaster all this is beginning to feel like........sometimes seems so overwhelming.......anyway.......was hoping to get some support here, since this is the whole idea abt this blog...had written something earlier too, but for some reason.......no one showed any interest..........hey guys, im new here , u dont know me , but is a lil support too much to ask?.......

Hey busybee! I'm also sailing in the same boat. No IVs so far 6 rejections. Got my CS result(passed) today n Ck score last wednesday, appplied with only step1 score in hand.

Got IV from Danbury Hospital folks. Used to live in Danbury, by the way. Know the city IN and OUT.
Am familiar about the hospital, since I am desi.........and 1 of the 50,000 immigrant family members of mine is always admitted to that hospital. 
If anyone has any general questions (no, I dont know about research opportunities !), I can post. Just general though.......about area, what type of hospital, etc.

having a prob with jersey shore in nj.im.....they invited me, then told me to fax some documents to them..among which was a cert showing tha i had done at least 4 weeks clinical rotation in psych , med, surg, obgyn.....faxed them my transcript.....which had only 2 weeks with psych.....coz thats the requirement of the Medical Council of India.........now they r denying me an i/v coz of this......saying that nj state board requires 4 weeks in pscyh......and im not even applying in psych.....i want IM..........but they hav driven me crazy for 2 days........have wasted time and effort on them.......they had my application and transcript so y did i get and invite at all?..........im feeling so blue and fed-up.........hav to study for ck but cant concentrate......if they had not called me at all , it wud hav been ok.....like so many others......but to 1st invite.....then say no........i mean like what the hell is next in store?....
