this topic is strictly for people with more than 1 attempt in usmle. please join up and keep each other informed of the IVs and REJs that you got. having multiple attempts is biggest killer of your chances of getting into residency. but lets keep faith in God and encourage us all.

I have 2nd attempts for step 1 and 2 both scored 78. CS passed 1st attempt, US citizen, US research, volunteer and observership experience, US LORs; applied to 65 FM and 29 Peds. 2 IVs for FM. It's the whole package that counts and if you know anyone in the program that can voucher for you. Good luck. Don't lose hope!

hi...all, just wanna encourage us with attempts to trust God, for He has begun a good work in us....making us to be healers and to reduce suffering...He will finish His calling......just learn to trust Him. He will cause things that we desire to come to pass if we submit to His will.
