a child with small pigmented macules over his body ,including buccal mucosa ,lips,palms,soles and skin not exposed to sun .What is the diagnosis and additonal findings ?

i could have said Peutz jegher but their polyps occur in small intestine ????

or could they be also occuring in colon , though small intestine is the most common site

is this the only macula that can appear in the mouth? Let's find some other skin disorder that's related to visera disease:
:arrow: acathosis nigricans: related to stomach, lung, breast, uterus cancers

:arrow: cafe au lait spot on skin ( does this appear all over the body except face?) --> Neurofibromatosis

:arrow: facial adnoma sebaceum--> tuberous sclerosis

any else you can think of?

Here's a list of diseases we should think when we see oral pigmentation:

1) peutz jeghers
2) addison's (b/c of increased ACTH and the MSH that it contains)
3) Pb poisoning

Tell me if Peutz Jegher is premalignant

its not premalignant for colonic carcinoma but is premalignant for lung ,pancreas etc.

good discussion ..but asmi..will peutz jegar has just a wide spread distribution??
