got it...........DVT more common in patent foramen ovale(ASD)...emboli to brain(paradoxical embolus)...infarcts

In simple words, DVT means problem in veins and there is no way veins could go back to brain so there must be some connection between veins and arteries which is in the form of patent foramen ovale
