yup.i am in LA, california.....from wht i ve heard california programs respond quite late.....last yr a friend of mine got all his IV calls from california after Nov 10th,tht was the date he signed a prematch contract....so i guess its usual for CA programs to respond late....so just hang in there arizona-wave and wywywy2006 and hope for the best.

Wywywy2006 I did not apply in WA state. I applied in 1 pgm in OR and they rejected me.

83/92 cs passed citizen some usce..have 12 iv calls all IM many rejections too ..so are there prematches in these programs??

hey gnisha....some CA programs do offer pre-matches....fresno does....so if u r lookin for a pre match u might want to prepone the IV a lil....and congrats on ur IV calls all the best!
forgot to mention i got an IV call from kerns last week....i applied last week n got the call the very next day....vent heard good things about the program though....wud welcome any input n comments on kerns....trying to decide whether i shud go to the Iv or not....

What is the year of your Graduation and are you IMG or AMG ?
Kern Med Ctr is good facility they have 3 yrs cutoff for IM.

thanks..grad last year and a proud IMG...i didnot apply to kern.all i know is that they take IMGS so u can give it a shot.
ok so for finding out prematch can u chk the nrmp quota for last yr and minus it from the no. of total pgy1 positions...this way both programs gave some prematches e.g. alameda (16-10) 6 prematches and fresno (13-8) 5 prematches.
am i right????
