Hey guys. I'm one of the guys that if someone ask this in step1 forum, I would be like show ofdisapproval, but this is the thing. You know me and hopefully know this is sincere.
Ok here it goes.
I got a 64% in one of the IM blocks of the qbook, ok.

My point of view is that it seem really easy and that I was suppose to score at least 75 or more, and that the test will never be that easy.

So what is your honest opinon about it?
thanks

Kaplan q-book is too easy. You need to study more, you are not ready yet.shaking head

GOGETA,

Review your Kaplan Notes at least once and practice UW questions. Kaplan Qbook questions are helpful in reviewing concepts, but their question styles are not representative of real exam. Arlete is right; you should study more and must get at least 80-85 on Kaplan qbook questions to be ready for CK. GL!

Hi Gogeta,

How is your score coming up, I am in the same situation as you are, scoring like 62,72,70 in q bank, and low 70's in qbook. hope we improve and get good scores, all the best with your studies..........

Thanks mona wish you the same
I think that Qbook goes over some classic easy concepts we all need to know base on what I saw on that block.
So will not hurt to do it and learn it very well.
my 2 cents

I feel disapproval
Did 200 questions= 4 blocks of IM from Qbook result from thos 4 blocks was 66%
shocked the questions are really easy and the ones I was between 2 the second option was the correct answer but actually I only got like 8 that I was between 2 and from those 8 I choose 6 correctgrin.
Anyhow the things I have gone over medstudy I had all of thoise questions correct I mean cardio and GI and Rheuma

So I need the peptalk from the gurus or guys here in step2ck.
If I had this scores when i was preparing for step1 I would be grin, but here in step2ck those score are like disapproval
So please come here and talk to me
and lets not mention the other discipline I did pediatrics and got a 52%, well I havent study it yet

GOGETA:

Then, I think this book IS useful for you. Although is not as difficult as the test, it is adding knowledge or at least teaching you how to deal with the questions, so if I were you, I would study all the answers, and then go for uw, for example. But don't do questions before reading theory, it may disencourage you (bad results when we do it like this).

Good luck!wink
