I need a suggestion, i have failed step1, but my eligibility period for 2cs is ending in march 2008, what shall i do? is it wise taking cs without step1 and 2ck, plz help. gl

If you feel you have a knowledge to make D/D and write W/U without studying for CK, then you you sit for CS, for sure...

I say take it. CS is really easy. Study for a week or so. Just make sure you are organized and good with your time

i agree. it would be a waste of the $1200. go for it. the reason IMGs are able to take the exams in any order is because we all graduated and have had some patient management under our belts. but if you haven't do patient care in a while, definitely take the time and study well for the CS. be comfortable with coming up with the differential diagnoses and diagnostic tests. FA is the best i think.

go through FA cover to cover, then sign up for UW and do it twice ... and above all else practice with a partner, timed. Do this for three weeks, and your golden. DOn't really need step I, II knowledge for CS.
