Does it matter when you take the exam? Is it better to take it before summer (i.e. before the US students)? Is the exam different for FMG?

if u plan to appply for match than u should try to pass all the exms before september.. one more thing is, kind of residency u are trying to get ,that is the specific requirement of that program.it does not matter if u take exam with or without U.S graduate. exam format and level of difficulty is the same.make decision on solid information .if i may suggest read first aid introduction as well as ecfmg web site for more details.

Hello everyone,

When is the last month to present all of the exams in order to qualify for next year's match? Does anyone know? I am hoping to be able to enter next year's match but I will be presenting the first step in july.

Second step in september and if I pass the first step in July Step 2 CS in september also.

You should have all your exams completed around October - then the PD knows that you will be ready to start.
