IM and FM are suitable for any doctors irrespective of their previous experience A friend of mine, residency in surgery in home country, got into FM Another friend, residency in ENT in home, got into IM

agree with robin082006. as a merely personal reflexion: it's kind of pitiful that a graduated or experienced surgeon or ENT doctors in their home countries come here and change their fields to do FM or IM or anything else. Don't misunderstand me, FM or IM are nice areas, I'm doing IM by the way. But they are changing what they really enjoy and love for other stuff, why? just to be here in the USA and of course other somewhat complex situations. anyways. good luck.

Great areas to work in the country needs IM and FM out there specially in the ER. in the midwest. On the reflexion of my two good friends I agree with them... we did not have the opportunity to GRADUATE from a US univ. and maybe that is what makes the difference all i know it that there are many ways to get where you are going ! PD.-and it is nice to "see" my friends
