I have received an invitation for phone interview at University of south Dakota. I haven't heard of this format. Can anyone guide me how to prepare for it? I am afraid because I am NOT TOO GOOD in english fluency. Is it a test to screen us? I would really appreciate if anyone could let me know about this!

are you appplying in psychiatry in ND ? coz I do not think other speciality offer phone interview before the acuall interview. please let me know when you will have it coz I have the same offer and need to prepar for it

My friend got a phone IV from the same program last week. A faculty member has called her and asked Qs like why IM, why USD program, what she did during USCE, how was she brought up in childhood, general qs about country of origin and plans after residency. They have also told that they do not have fellowships. Hope this helps. Best of luck again.

hey sprint, do u have 1 yr of USCE, coz I believe that SD has that as a prerequisite?

thank you so much Dinie. I don't have one year of USCE but USD prefers it! Hope it is NOT mandatory!
