Thank you all. Here is my performance profile for your correlation. UW cumulative score: 76% (unused, timed) 100% completed 1 month before the exam. NBME form 3 (on line) : 680,253 (2 weeks before the exam) NBME form 1 (downloaded): 182/200 NBME form 2 (downloaded): 184/200 NBME form 4 (downloaded): 184/200 (form 1,2,4 were done during last week before the exam) USMLE CD: 43,47,44 (2 days before the exam) Kaplan Q bank: very variable scores as i did it in early preparation time. (60% to 80%) Good luck to you all.

Thank you very much for your kind comments.
To m-l-e, Last 15 days: After I have done NBME accessments, I got better idea on what the exam would stress on and where I m weak. I used both FA and Kaplan Notes to cover my weakness. I can manage to review each subjects in 2 days. But i didn't read back anatomy, physio and patho on which i did pretty good in all accessments. But it is important to review Micro, Pharmaco, Biochemistry and Embryo as they need good memorization. For those subjects plus immuno, FA is good and if you have digested FA, you can reinforce them by Kaplan notes. In the last week, i just reviewed my own notes and turned some pages on FA, see pictures in it and Kaplan Anatomy book and did USMLE CD. I did them in flexible schedule. My own notes are just made of some important concepts and facts that i frequently forgot while doing UW and other banks. So the last 15 days plan will be personalized according to their weekness. It shoud be made flexible and to do so we have to work really hard on earlier days. Good luck in your exam.

To simi, I suscribed UW for only 1 month, so i could only review my own notes made from it after that. I did 50-100Qs everyday, study their explination for all items thoroughly after each block. And after i finished 5 blocks, I redo the wrong items. While doing so, I made some notes on hard-to-remember things and some important concepts i missed. So after 1 month, I have digested most of the should-know concepts and copied a few in my own notes to review later. Good luck

do you have many molecular/ histology /neuro questions? and apparently seems u only used kaplan notes and FA, didnt use any other HY series nor goljan notes much. did u consult any main textbook or do you think ur well performance is due to your strong background knowledge or kaplan is just totally sufficient to nail the test?? thank you for you time reading my questions

I think Goljan notes are like integrative pathology. I read his full systemic notes once but as i mentioned before it is not of great help. For exam purpose, Kaplan is enough because we couldn't retain too much information no matter how many books we read. I can confidently say this is not because of my background experience though i m a graduate and have got some clinical exposures. Kaplan, FA and two Qbanks are more than enough. You will see it after you have done NBME. They wouldn't test you beyond those boundaries. But everybody has his/her own favourite books and do use them if you feel like they are helpful. In my exam, molecular/histo/neuro questions were quite often. Molecular questions were challenging but histo and neuro were quite straight forward. Be confident that if you did well in Qbanks and NBME accessments, you will do the same in real exam. Hope this helps. Good luck

hi, congrats wonderful score .i just needed to ask u about USMLE WORLD .did u do it random unused and ur cumulative was 70+ or ur individual score in each block was 75 cuz doin repeat q's obviously improves the cumulative sorry for being so picky im scoring hardly 60-65% in random and 70%when i do subject wise .sometimes very low even 40%in random q's initially. dont know what a good score is no time to do NBME .this is my final revision still have to do biochem and pharma (reason for low score). sorry if u did mention it earlier didnt go through entire post (no time panick attacks are startin
