NOw we all know that Procainamide , hydralazine can cause it . How would u know for sure that its drug induced apart from the history of using the drug?

I think kidneys are not involved in this type of lupus .

U're right asmi . smiling face Just that there are few more



:arrow: abrupt onset rather than slow
:arrow: very low incidence of renal /CNS involvement
:arrow: absent anti dsDNA/anti Sm antibodies
:arrow: Normal complement level
:arrow: elevated antihistone antibodies


and last but not the least the best thing would be to Discontinue the drug smiling face

pt gives u the hictory of the particular drug use and symptoms subside with drug discontinuation.
