i am an img..i got passed step1 2ck...going to take csin start oct..i will get my result in december..i can apply right now..is ecfmg certificate is must before you get interview..?plz help me..

Its highly program dependable. Meaning some programs have minimum criteria that says ECFMG certified with application, some says certified till interview date and some say certified till ROL submission. As competition grows more programs are looking for certified docs as it lessens the minimal risk of interivewing a candidate who later on fails to be certified (failing cs or degree verification issues). Still you can apply now(best time if you really wanna go for this match) and will get some interview ( i have seen personal examples). Or wait but not for december than rather next match. december is out of most of the programs last date of application. If you choose to apply now THEN APPLY WISELY. know about certification requirement of a program before paying money for it. all the best.
