Pt is a 25 y/o with 6 wks of pregnacy who has PPD+ test on pre-natal care. CXR shows upper lobe cavity nodule and sputum culture for AFB is positive for active TB. what's your management?

a) INH + Rifampin + ethambutol + B6

b) INH + rifampin + ethambutol + pyrazinamide + B6

c) INH + rifampin + ethambutol + streptomycin + B6

d) INH + B6 only and combo 4 drugs after delivery

e) Treat after delivery

f) ID consultation

guys why not answer is B.why to exclude pyrazinamide?

pyrazinamide is teratogenic while streptomycin causes congenital deafness
