I am interested to know as well. I think you can practice medicine. but I dont how good the program is. Some people say that because you dont have the same amount of time doing clinics you are a bad doctor, but I dont know why?on the other hand....is it reserved only for AMG?How competitive is it?
Maybe bbb could comment about this...

It is very competitive, usually peer-reviewed publications phds needed...
It's generally also longer 4 years or more... Generally at University programs where basic research is common...
You can definately practice medicine...but you are expected to continue in academia...
