What were the deficiencies in the applications,interviews and rank order list.And now what new tools have u taken to ace this MATCH..
We wll all learn from the mistakes and will try to avoid them and Will PRAY FOR EVERY ONE TO GET MATCH.

Hi,
Me too in the same condition..
Mine were I think,
applied late, wanted visa,
didn't have step 3,
Long gap in Clinical experience, Old graduate, may be aimed high
May be didn't prepare for the Interviews well.

applied late december to a few programs so i would be eligible for the scramble ... didnt work out!

applied late in mid october with only Usmle step 1 now I applied early with step 1 step ck and step 2 cs all passed

So uptill now few reasons we found are
-Late applying
-incomplete application
-lack of prep for interviews.
and aiming high

Applied inadequately last year - only to 12 programs in and around chicago area and wisconsin due to personal reasons.
Wasn't ECFMG certified at the time of applying. No step 3 scores by the interview time.
Additionally, was looking for H1 sponsor.
