Hi Everybody Am I right in assuming that if we haven't heard from programs that have already called for interview, then one is rejected. So far, I have only received one rejection email but most of the programs have already invited for interview according to the SDN 'official' surgery website. I applied to 14 programs. Thanks for any information. BD

well some programs are still calling for interviews. you'll have to contact the programs yourself and find out. are you an american grad? otherwise applying to 14 programs is not enough...

I am new to the surgery forum, it is great to be here... I am applying to anesthesia have 5 ivs so, but I had none prelim ivs until now, just got mayo clinic for a prelim spot.. I guess prelim residencies are not that hard to get, at least that is what I heard off... But, I am not sure, surgery is surgery, Highly competitive.. So good luck to all of you brave warriors who have luv for knives and thirst of blood... lol just kidding..
