its been quiet today too...2 days straight in a week which is supposed to be peak time fr interviews.....am getting scared...has eras/ecfmg/programs forgotten me!!

Don't worry my friend PGI, tomorrow I will have 2 weeks straight of complete silence...getting a little freaked out I have to admit, but I try to keep myself active and positive. I received this email from Emory today and since the subject did not say invitation for IV I thought it was a rejection and it was relieving to see it. I think no news is better than bad news, I rather have complete silence than a rejection.  I'll post the email in case you haven't seen it. I also received a similar mail from Henry Ford. Good luck and see you guys around, I hope next time I post is because I got an IV!! =)

Your application to the SIUH Internal Medicine Residency Training Program has been received and is currently under review. You will be notified via email within a few weeks whether you have been selected for an interview or not. If you have been selected for an interview you will receive further instructions.
The SIUH application and interview season is from October through January. You will certainly receive a final status update by February. Due to the volume of applications, we appreciate your patience and cooperation in this process.
